I believe that we often see distress or unhappiness as  problems. It is not a sign of a mental problem which we fear, in fact it is an indication of a change which we can bring through the discovery of the purpose of the unease or unhappiness which we are feeling. All of us have this potential to continuous change and transformation through which we can attain our authentic self, which gives purpose in our lives. This authentic self has its own possibilities and limitations, which continually creating ones’s own identity. My role as  a therapist is to enable a person, to live life well in his or her own way.

I had worked with wide variety of clients who have psychological, health and life problems including those struggling with traumas, depression, suicide, grief and loss, and relationship issues. I also have some other interests such as my deep interest in music and meditation. I am trained in Indian Classical Music as well.

I usually prefer eclectic approach in my work. Psychoanalytic, Existential, CBT, and RET are the ones which I mostly use in my work.  Mindfulness and meditation with/ without the assistance of music are also a part of my work.

I largely work with adolescents, young adults and middle aged group people.
